Scott M. Peterson CHFC® is the founder and principal investment advisor of Peterson Wealth Advisors. He graduated from Brigham Young University in 1986 and has since specialized in financial planning for retirees. Scott has broken ground in the retirement planning industry as the architect of the Perennial Income Model™, a planning tool that helps retirees manage their investments throughout retirement. Scott is the author of Plan on Living: The Retiree’s Guide to Lasting Income & Enduring Wealth and Maximize Your Retirement Income. Scott is a regular presenter at BYU’s Education Week and speaks often at other seminars regarding financial decision making at retirement.

Carson D. Johnson CFP® is a Partner at Peterson Wealth Advisors and a Certified Financial Planner™ who specializes in helping individuals and families prepare for retirement. After starting his career at Fidelity Investments, Carson was drawn to Peterson Wealth Advisors for its unique approach to retirement income planning and for the opportunity to truly help clients build a clear plan for the years ahead. He earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Personal Financial Planning and has ten years of experience working with retirees and those nearing retirement. In addition, Carson is a National Social Security Advisor and a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®), reflecting his focus on retirement income planning. He regularly teaches and presents in the community, and he’s passionate about helping retirees feel confident in their plan so they can focus on what matters most in retirement.
