CLASSROOM:
2254 CONF, BYU Campus
Students will not be demanded to participate in class, but the instructor will ask questions for people to answer, though not singling anyone out. Participation will be at the will of each participant. The instructor may do some exercises with participants “in class”, but it would not be for all to see/hear, unless the instructors ask for volunteers and you choose to do so.
Yes, people can register and join in from all over. This course will be a virtual event. Everyone is welcome!
Note: All people attending the course should be registered individually whether taking it in-person or online. There should not be any “sharing” of the Zoom classes with unregistered participants.
You will need a way to access Zoom, but you can be on mute and your camera off if you just want to listen to and watch the instructor.
The “no cost” tuition is covered by BYU Benefits for BYU (Provo) employees only. We do not have a benefits option for BYU–Idaho or BYU–Hawaii employees.
We are limited to 300 people, but if we go over that in registrations we can get a license for more. You can sign up right until the registration deadline, which is just before the second class starts.
The course will be available to access on this website via Zoom links. We will post the links under “Live Course Access” to allow only those who are registered to have access to the course links. The live class links can be found by clicking the “Live Course Access” link in the menu. Please test your login access before class starts.
Because you are a university student (any college/university) you do qualify to take the course for the University Student price listed on the Website. You can register from this website and select the University Student option when it shows the various sections to choose from.
You will need just the Internet for access to this website and access to Zoom.
It will be taught in Zoom. Participants can ask questions and be part of the class if they so choose, as directed by the instructor.
If you are taking the course for credit, you must register before the first class starts. If you are taking it for non-credit/audit, you can register up until the second class starts.
The live course will start according to the schedule on the Website. It will be live and interactive each class period according to the scheduled times. You can access the “Live Course Access” any time before class starts and we ask that you login to the “Live Course Access” to test your access before the first day of class. This way we can help with any troubles you may have.
Yes. The link of each recorded live class will be posted on this website the day after each class. They will be located on the schedule under "Live Course Access". Each recorded session of past classes will be available to view for the duration of the course.
